How it works:
Our proxy api uses various methods to make sure ip addresses are correctly identified as proxy servers. We use an hourly tor exit node list generated from a special source, and we use the official tor dns lookup system that makes sure no tor exit node can pass by undetected. For public proxy blocking a specially crafted method of detection is used.
How to Use:
This api returns one of the three strings. If the ip address was detected as a tor exit node you will receive “Tor”. If the ip address was detected as a public proxy available to the public you will receive “Public”. If the ip address was not detected as proxy server you will receive “0″. You might also receive “Invalid IP” if you do not supply a valid ip address.
