Over the past week or so there have been a lot of changes. Changes you probably didn’t notice and probably wouldn’t ever have known unless you’ve read this post.
The entire website and all of its services have been moved to a new server and I have switched from lighttpd to nginx with php-fpm, which works significantly faster along with using less resources.
Also:
The proxy detection api seems to be used heavily by users outside the WinMX community. An alternative service centered around this api will be released in the coming months. The current api will be phased out in the future to make way for a quota based system instead of the current unlimited service that is already in place.
